About the Role.

We are looking for Registered Nurses to join our friendly and professional team at Glenview Care Home, Cabragh.

You will be responsible for ensuring outstanding clinical care is provided to our residents every day. Your strong clinical knowledge and established people management and leadership skills will ensure the highest standards are achieved in relationship-centred care, clinical care and dementia care throughout the home.

Duties will include:

• Assisting the Clinical Care Manager with responsibility for clinical care in the home.

• Assisting care delivery in the home, to ensure continuous assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of resident’s care

• Assisting with ensuring care plans are regularly audited and that they are appropriate to the resident’s needs and reflect the care being delivered.

• Ensuring medication is ordered and administered in line with company policies and procedures and the NMC guidelines.

• Ensuring that all regulatory and statutory requirements are met, and company policies and procedures are adhered to.

• Developing and promoting good communication with residents, relatives, and team members.

• Liaising with GPs and other professionals to ensure outstanding care for the residents is maintained.

• Assisting with the delivery of food and drink to the residents.

• Actively engaging with residents in conversation and meaningful occupation

• Ensuring risk assessments are completed within the home and safe working practices are followed.

About You.

• Hold a current NMC Registration as a Registered Nurse (RN) and provide evidence of continuing personal development.

• Warm-hearted, compassionate and committed to delivering the highest standard of care.

• A proven track record of leading, empowering, supporting and motivating a team, demonstrating your strong leadership and management skills.

• Excellent written, non-verbal and verbal communication skills.

• A willingness to learn and develop throughout your career with us.

• Genuine interest in working with the elderly.
