Our residents have taken advantage of the recent sunny weather and got involved in some spring planting activities.
At Hamilton Court, residents planted sunflower seeds and potted a variety of other plants, with the aim of brightening up the already beautiful courtyard. They got very creative with their gardening; make sure you look out for the Easter Bunnies next time you're visiting!
Over at Glenview, residents had lots of fun planting some Lupins which will look lovely in the patio area and will keep coming back year after year!
Gardening offers a wealth of benefits for residents in care homes, encompassing physical, mental, and social well-being. You could tell that everyone really enjoyed the activity - and getting their hands dirty!
With a few more sunny days forecast, we'll be doing some more planting across our Homes and we can't wait to watch everything growing over the next few months. Spring really is the best time of the year!
