Testimonials...

"My wife was discharged from SWAH into the care of The County Nursing Home after a stroke. As a family we feel very blessed that mum is being cared for by the team at The County. We are always welcomed with a smile and nothing is too much trouble when we ask about mum’s care. My wife turned 91 in June and we held a Birthday Party in the Home for her with a lovely cake baked by the Chef. The staff are very attentive to her needs which are compounded by her dementia and lack of speech and mobility. She has settled very well into the routine of daily life in The County. She really enjoys her meals and cups of tea and on occasion I have joined her for dinner while visiting and the meals have been delicious. My wife gets a lot of pleasure from music and loves being included in the activities held for the residents, in particular the musicians that come to play in the afternoons. She has received some personalised letters written by the school children from the nearby Model Primary School. These touching letters have given my wife great joy when read out loud to her. As part of this community initiative, as her husband, I was invited to Enniskillen Castle to represent The County Nursing Home when King Charles visited Northern Ireland in May. This was an opportunity I never thought I would have, to get to meet and speak with the King and to shake his hand. My wife was thrilled when I told her all about it. I know my wife is well cared for and content living here, which has helped me come to terms with this now being her home."

"You were faithful to the end in the wondrous care of our mother. She was always safe in your care. The most common commandement in the Bible (both OT & NT) is "Do not be afraid". If everyone in the world could live their final days and die in your care, how true that would be physically as well as spiritually. Relatives, County Care Home

"Thank you to all the wonderful 'carers' for making my mothers last times on earth so comfortable and happy. I hope your life rewards you for all your hard work, caring and attention." Relatives, County Care Home
