About the Role.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, empathetic and proactive person to join our team at Sanville Care Home as an Activities and Wellbeing Co-ordinator. Activities are a huge part of life for our residents, and this is a key role within our Home.
Your role will be to bring happiness to the lives of our residents, as part of our ‘Enjoy Your Day’ initiative. With support from the home manager and head office, you will be responsible for planning and delivering a person-centred activities programme that will engage, stimulate and improve the well-being of our residents. Whether you are arranging group activities like arts and crafts, baking and chair yoga, or doing a one-to-one activity like reading or doing a word search, we guarantee no two days will be the same. You will also report on the effectiveness of your activities programme, and review and refresh it when needed.
This is a full, varied and rewarding role, and it’s a fantastic opportunity to have a positive impact on the lives of our residents.
DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:
• Planning, organising, promoting and implementing a meaningful, enjoyable, engaging and stimulating activities programme, based on person-centred care principles

• Conducting regular reviews of all activities and programmes to measure and assess effectiveness
• Ensuring key events, activities and achievements are communicated to the Marketing Department
• Building strong and positive external links within the local community
