About the Role.
We are looking for a Maintenance Operative to join our team at Glenview Care Home, Cabragh. You will support us in carrying out the day-to-day maintenance of the building, its services and grounds, ensuring the home is maintained in a safe and efficient functional order.
𝗗𝗨𝗧𝗜𝗘𝗦 𝗪𝗜𝗟𝗟 𝗜𝗡𝗖𝗟𝗨𝗗𝗘:
• To carry out general maintenance as required throughout the home
• To ensure the home is in good decorative order at all times
• To ensure all external areas and grounds are kept tidy and well-maintained to ensure the smart appearance of the Home
• To liaise and supervise outside contractors
• To minimise costs by monitoring energy consumption
• To test and check all portable electrical appliances that residents bring into the Home
• To ensure all equipment is periodically maintained
• To understand and ensure the implementation of the Home’s Health and Safety policy, Emergency and Fire Procedures
• Complete all relevant records, reports, and documentation as per company policy
About You.
We are looking for someone who ideally has experience in property maintenance and is friendly, reliable, and ready to turn their hand to a range of tasks, from minor electrical and plumbing work to painting and decorating, etc.
