About the Role.
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Senior Nurse to join our dedicated Dementia Unit team. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic nurse looking to take on a leadership role within a supportive environment, ensuring high-quality, person-centred care for residents living with dementia.
𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀:
- Lead, support, and mentor nursing and care staff within the Dementia Unit.
- Ensure safe, effective, and compassionate care in line with RQIA standards and Sanville Group policies.
- Oversee medication management and clinical interventions.
- Develop and implement individualised care plans with residents and their families.
- Act as a role model, promoting dignity, independence, and well-being for residents.
- Support training, supervision, and appraisal of junior staff.
- Work closely with the Home Manager, GP, and multidisciplinary team.
- You will also be part of our on-call management team.
About You.
𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗪𝗲’𝗿𝗲 𝗟𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗙𝗼𝗿:
- Registered Nurse (NMC PIN required). Desirable (Registered Mental Health Nurse)
- Experience working with residents living with dementia.
- 2 Years of Post registration experience
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Compassionate, patient-centred approach.
- Commitment to professional development and teamworking.
