Easter was a lovely time at Hamilton Court, The County and Glenview. We had a variety of activities to mark the occasion, ensuring everyone could join in the fun.
Residents at each home enjoyed church services for those who wished to participate, providing a moment for reflection.
There was also plenty of creative energy during our Easter bonnet parades, where everyone showed off their colourful and imaginative hat designs. And, arts and crafts sessions were popular, with residents making Easter decorations and cards.
We also held Easter parties in each home, filled with music and opportunities for everyone to socialise and enjoy themselves.
The traditional Easter egg hunts were a hit too, along with other light-hearted games that brought smiles to many faces.
Of course, no Easter is complete without some treats! Residents enjoyed a selection of delicious Easter goodies baked by our very own kitchen teams, and it was lovely to see them sharing these with visiting family and friends.
Spending time with loved ones was a key part of the celebrations across all our homes. We also appreciated the good weather we had before Easter, which allowed some of our residents to spend time gardening and enjoying the outdoors.
Overall, it was a lovely Easter for everyone at our Care Homes, and we managed to perfectly balance the fun of the Easter Bunny with the more thoughtful aspects of the holiday.
Thank you to everyone that worked hard to make the celebrations so special and to those who celebrated with us.
